James Cargas for Congress Launches New Website

HOUSTON (Aug. 18, 2016) – The James Cargas for Congress campaign launched its new website today, positioned at www.JamesCargas.com, the familiar URL supporters have known for years. Following a page by page review of the existing images and text, every element of this now mobile-friendly site was fortified and re-energized to maximize its utility and accessibility.

New and upgraded features include:

  • The posting of new video clips featuring the candidate.
  • An interactive map of Congressional District 7 that allows voters to zoom in on their neighborhood to see if they can vote for James Cargas.
  • Enhanced layout of the issues page, with frequent, topical postings
  • The ability to volunteer, contribute and source information about voting locations

“I like the clean look of the new site,” candidate James Cargas observed. “Voters can now find the information they need quickly and connect with our campaign with a few simple keystrokes.”

“Behind the scenes,” Cargas continued, “the site is more completely integrated with Facebook and twitter, which amplifies the campaign’s web presence and makes it easier for us to post photos, videos, and other news essentials.”

With the new website launch, voters can expect real-time updates on issues of concern to Texas as they develop and unfold. These updates will include additional video clips and will be distributed across an assortment of social media platforms.

The website was designed and created by former William J. Clinton White House media team member John Phillippe and his team at Zephyr Salvo. Editorial assistance was provided by Doug Harris of Noisemaker Communications. Both companies are located in Houston, Texas.
